The Energy Saving Trust

The EST (Energy Saving Trust) is a government backed scheme to incentivise consumers to purchase EV car charging points. We are on the EST list as an Approved Contractor and by getting us to install your chargepoint you are eligible for their £250 grant.

They offer a standard grant of £250 and an extra £100 available for specific ‘rural category 8’ postcodes as defined by the Scottish Government.

In order to claim this grant, you (the customer) must apply directly to them prior to works taking place. You will need to submit a copy of our quotation.

Upon successful approval they will provide you with a reference which you then give to us in order to allow us to book in your works.

When we complete your works, you will need to submit your receipted invoice to the EST and they will then make a payment direct to you.

The OZEV Grant - EVHS

The EVHS (Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme) offered by OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) is a government grant which offers up to £350 of funding towards the purchase of an EV car charging point.

This grant is claimed by us on your behalf. After carrying out some basic checks we can help to determine if you are eligible for this grant. We would then deduct the cost of the grant £350 from your quotation and claim this retrospectively from OZEV direct to ourselves.

The OZEV funding will cease for homeowners on 31st March 2022.

The OZEV Grant - WCS

The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle chargepoints for businesses and workplaces.

This government grant offers up to £350 of funding towards the purchase of every EV chargepoint installed, up to a maximum of 40 chargepoints per applicant.

You will need to complete the online application process, providing information about your business, the desired number of sockets you would like to install and de minimis declaration (if this applies).

If you are eligible, you will be issued a voucher code which allows us to carry out your installation.

We then claim the value of the voucher (up to £350) for each socket, up to a maximum of 40 sockets, on your behalf. The value of the voucher, generated at the end of the redemption process, will be discounted from your invoice.
