There are a number of generous Government grants and incentives available to help you go green.

✓ The Energy Saving Trust – have detailed information about a variety of loans and grants that are currently available in Scotland.
✓ Home Energy Scotland Loan (HES) - you can now apply for grant funding without taking out a loan. A rural uplift is also available to provide extra support to rural homes which can face increased costs to install home improvements. ✓ Warmer Homes Scotland - you could get funding from the Scottish Government to make energy efficiency improvements, like new heating or insulation. They will let you know if you’re eligible.
✓ Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) - The Smart Export Guarantee is a support mechanism designed to ensure small-scale generators (Solar PV) are paid for the renewable electricity they export to the grid.
✓ EST Domestic Chargepoint Funding - People living in Scotland can get up to £400 towards the cost of buying and installing home charge points for electric vehicles.
✓ OZEV Chargepoint Grant for Renters & Flat Owners - This grant provides electric vehicle (EV) drivers who are renters or own a flat with support towards the costs of the purchase and installation of EV charge points.
✓ Private Rented Sector Landlord Loan - Funding to help registered private landlords to improve the energy efficiency of their properties.
✓ OZEV Chargepoint and Infrastructure Grant for Landlords, Including Car Parks – Grants for landlords to install electric vehicle chargepoints and supporting infrastructure in rental and leasehold properties.
✓ Business Energy Scotland – Free support to help boost your profit and make your business greener.
✓ Business - SME Loan Scheme – Loans of up to £100k are available to help you pay for energy and carbon saving upgrades in your business. You could also receive a cashback grant of up to £30k.
✓ EST Business Chargepoint Funding - Small businesses in rural areas and third sector organisations anywhere in Scotland can access grant funding to install electric vehicle charging infrastructure on their premises.
✓ OZEV Chargepoint and Infrastructure Grant for Business Staff & Fleet Car Parks - The grant provides small and medium-sized businesses money off the cost of installing electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints and supporting infrastructure for their staff and fleet vehicles.
✓ OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme - The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme that provides eligible applicants with support towards the upfront costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints.
