Environment
Our commitment to the environment is reflected in every aspect of our operations. A significant portion of our fleet is electric, reducing our carbon footprint and demonstrating our dedication to sustainable practices. These vehicles are charged at our office, which is powered by a combination of solar PV and battery storage. Our offices and workshop are heated by an air source heat pumps (ASHP) also integrated with our solar PV and battery storage installations. By integrating these green technologies, we lead by example and promote environmental responsibility.
Local Community
We feel strongly about supporting the communities we serve, proudly sponsoring and supporting a diverse range of local organisations. Our contributions include backing sports teams such as Arbroath FC, Clachnacuddin FC, Vale of Atholl FC, Perthshire Rugby, and Newtonmore Shinty. We also support educational and recreational projects such as the Blair Atholl Primary School garden, Pitlochry Community Garden, and the Aviemore Community Ice Rink.
In addition, we are involved with several local golf clubs, including Kings Golf Club Inverness, Blair Atholl Golf Club, and Pitlochry Golf Club. we also sponsor Pitlochry Rotary Club’sCitizen of the Year award, and we recently we were proud to support Henry Cheape in becoming the fastest Scot to row across the Atlantic in his boat Polly Anne.
Our history
RW Bell Green Energy is the sister company of R.W. Bell Electrical, who were founded in Pitlochry in 1947.
